Privacy policy

The short version
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising.
- The page loads nothing from other websites. Fonts and code are served from this domain.
- The generator runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and the generated files are never sent to me or anyone else.
- Like every website, the page has to be delivered by a hosting provider, which processes technical connection data to do so (see below).

2. Using the generator
Your answers to the wizard are processed only inside your browser to build the files you download. They are not
transmitted to the server. If you use "Copy link to these answers", your answers are encoded in the part of the
web address after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to the server; it is only shared if you
share the link yourself.
3. Hosting (Firebase Hosting)
This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you open the page, your browser connects to Google's servers, which necessarily process technical data to deliver the page: your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested file, and browser information (user agent). This page tells browsers not to send a referrer.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably). I do not use this data to identify visitors.
How long: Google states that Firebase Hosting keeps IP addresses "for a few months". It gives no exact period; see Google's privacy information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Where: Firebase runs on Google's global infrastructure, so this data may be processed outside the EU, including by Google LLC in the United States. For such transfers Google names two safeguards: its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on which transfers can be based under the European Commission's adequacy decision, and the Standard Contractual Clauses used with the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms.
4. Domain name service (Cloudflare DNS)
The domain's DNS records are managed with Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare only answers the lookup of the domain name; it does not proxy or see the website traffic itself.
5. Storage on your device
No cookies are used. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser's
local storage (key agent-safeguard-theme) so the next page opens in the same theme. It never leaves your
device and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. Legal basis: § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (storage
strictly necessary for a function you requested).
6. Contact by e-mail
If you e-mail me, I process your e-mail address and message to reply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message concerns a contract. I delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed, unless legal retention periods apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To use these rights, e-mail sai@saimaddi.dev.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority responsible for me: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (HBDI), Wiesbaden, Germany.
8. No automated decisions
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
9. Changes
I update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
